NABARD SO Recruitment 2018! Engagement of Specialist Officer on Contract

NABARD has released recruitment notification for SO on contract basis at Higher, Middle & Junior Levels.

New Delhi/14.06.2018: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has rolled out its recruitment notification for the year 2018. It invites eligible and interested candidates to fill out online application form for the post of Specialist Officer (SO) at higher, middle and junior levels (on contract basis). Candidates can apply for the same before 5th July 2018.

 Duration of Contract:

The contract for the Specialist Officer will mainly be based on the norms of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development. However, the duration of the recruitment contact ranges to 6 months from 2 years.

Reservations:

Three posts are reserved for OBC category. They are –

  1. Product Manager for Rural Credit Institutions Computerization – OBC
  2. Specialist Officer(Legal) – OBC
  3. APM – Marketing, Storage & Processing – OBC

Candidates belonging to the above-mentioned categories must produce original caste certificates with a self-attested copy while appearing for the interview. The documents will be verified by the concerned department.

Age:

An applicant must meet the age criteria for this job. As per the notification released by NABARD, the maximum age of the applicants should be 63 years as on 30.06.2018.

Application Fee:

Those who belong to SC/ST/PWBD categories are only required to pay the intimation charges. The amount is Rs. 50/-. Applicants from other categories need to pay Rs. 500/- (450/- Application Fee + 50/- Intimation Charges).

Candidates working in Government or Quasi Government, Banks, PSUs and FIs need to provide NOC from the employer at the time of interview. Failing to submit the documents will result in the cancellation of their candidature.

Selection Process:

The official job notification carries the information about the selection process, “The candidates will be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:10 on the basis of qualification, experience, etc. The Bank reserves the right to increase/ decrease the number of post/s or cancel the above contract recruitment in part or full as per institutional requirement without assigning any reason.”
