DMRC Recruitment 2018: Exam Dates Released for Junior Engineer and Assistant Manager Test

Exam dates for DMRC JE/Assistant Manager recruitment exam 2018 released. Read below to check out the complete details.

22 March 2018: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. has announced the exam dates for DMRC JE/Assistant Manager exam 2018. The online application process for the exam started from 27 January 2018 and concluded on 12 March 2018.

The online exam will start from 09 April 2018 and will continue till 20 April 2018. Admit cards for the same will be available at the official website from 26 March 2018 and will also be sent to the respective registered email IDs of the candidates. DMRC has informed the candidates about the exam dates through SMS.

Exam Pattern

The exam is being conducted for various executive and non-executive posts. The exam pattern for both types of posts will be different.

For Executive posts (Assistant Manager), the selection process comprises of three stages:

  • Computer Based Test (CBT) (two papers)
  • Group Discussion
  • Personal Interview

For Non-Executive (Junior Engineer), the selection process comprises of two stages:

  • Computer Based Test (CBT) (one paper)
  • Medical Examination

Candidates are required to pass through each stage of the exam separately (including medical exam). Candidates who have applied for Assistant Manager posts have to appear in two papers in the CBT and those who have applied for Junior Engineer posts will have to appear in only one paper. For Assistant manager posts, Paper I and Paper II will be conducted on same day in the same examination centre.

Scheme of Paper I

This paper will consist of 120 objective type questions on General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and knowledge of trade. There is a provision for negative marking and 1/3 of the marks allotted to the question will be deducted for wrong answer. The paper will be of 1.5 hours duration.

Scheme of Paper II

The paper will consist of 60 objective type questions on General English. 1/3 marks will be deducted for incorrect answer. The paper will be of 45 minutes duration.
